The standard speakers in a Opel Corsa B are pretty bassy but dont sound very clear. The treble is almost non-existant and the vocals are abit hollow.
I'm not sure if all Opel Corsa B's have rear speakers, but mine doesnt seem to have and sound coming out the rear. I cant see any speakers beside the rear parcel shelf, although you can see the slots where the speakers might be hiding under. I cant see any wires leading to any secret speakers either.
Anyway yesterday i decided to replace the 2 front speakers in the doors, and maybe later put some 6 x 9's on the parcel shelf. If this doesnt get it sounding loud, clear and bassy, i will probably add an amplifier and bass box. However my car stereo doesnt have any pre-outs which will be an added expense.
So anyway, i grabbed a phillips screwdriver and began to undo the Corsa door card. All you need to do is undo the 6 black screws and the bottom part of the plastic door card and speaker pod falls off. Underneath you will see the standard speaker. Unscrew this speaker from the Opels door and snip the wired connector. Connect up your speakers (mine were some JBL's) and screw them in. Screw on the door card again and voila! Repeat the same on the other door, and you should now have some decent sounds in your Opel.
